In light of the recent flooding across WA, immediate financial assistance is being offered to those affected.
The Western Australia Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (WANDRRA) is jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth Governments and administered by the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), with assistance from other agencies.
Primary producers are reminded that reimbursement of fees up to $1,500 is available, to obtain professional advice directly relating to addressing issues arising from the floods.
Other assistance includes;
- Interest rate subsidy, for new loans provided by Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions (ADIs).
- Freight subsidy, a reimbursement of a maximum of 50 per cent of the costs incurred to transport selected items as a direct result of the floods.
- Fencing assistance, reimbursement of 100 per cent of the costs associated with restoring, replacing or repairing fencing affected by the floods.
