Kristie Dundon named new Managing Partner in Melbourne
Assurance and Advisory Partner Kristie Dundon will lead RSM Australia’s Melbourne team as Office Managing Partner, following 20 years with the leading professional services firm.
Appointed Partner in RSM Australia’s audit and assurance division in 2010, Ms Dundon succeeds Jonathan Easton in the office leadership role. Mr Easton held the role for three years and will stay on as Director of Business Advisory Services in Melbourne.
RSM Australia Chief Executive Partner Jamie O’Rourke said the leadership change followed significant growth and client service diversification for the Melbourne office.
“RSM’s Melbourne team has been one of our fastest-growing in recent years, and I would like to thank Jonathan for his exceptional leadership and innovation during this time, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent economic recovery.”
“Kristie’s collaborative leadership style, her longstanding dedication to RSM Australia and strong commitment to building sustainable relationships with clients and colleagues made her the perfect choice to lead our Melbourne team into the future.”
Ms Dundon has worked extensively across audit, technical and regulatory accounting, particularly in the not-for-profit and public sector.
“I am excited to lead the Melbourne office into our next phase of growth and create a people-focused workplace where collaboration is at the forefront,” Ms Dundon said.
“Stepping into my new role, I look forward to continuing to provide our valued clients with the high quality of service that RSM is recognised for, and to helping them best navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
“My primary goal over the few next years will be working with teams to identify areas of improvement, implement strategic initiatives, while continuing to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.”
Ms Dundon was one of seven RSM Australia women elevated to new leadership roles in its July round of promotions, including new Partner Catherine Bell who has joined the national ESG sustainability services team based in RSM’s Perth office. Catherine has extensive experience as a Global Sustainability Advisor both in Australia and overseas.
Sydney’s Aleesha Bailey and Perth’s Stephanie McAuliffe were named new Principals, while the Melbourne office also saw Tranquility Clinton and Mary Wang promoted to Associate Directors.
Perth-based RSM Australia Partner Nadine Marke was also named the firm’s new National Head of Corporate Finance.
