RSM has announced the appointment of experienced advisor Amit Kabra as a new Partner in RSM's audit and assurance services division based in Perth.
The appointment is effective 1 December 2021. 
Amit has strong experience in public practice and commercial roles across Australia, Middle East and the Indian sub-continent.
Previously, Amit was a Senior Executive at Synergy, an energy generator and retailer with revenue of $3 billion, leading the corporate finance function.
Prior to that, Amit was an Executive Director at a big 4 firm and has spent over 15 years providing audit and assurance services to Australian and international clients, specialising in large government trading enterprises and not-for-profit companies across finance, insurance and energy sectors.
His commercial experience includes business transformation, finance restructure, systems implementation and board reporting.
His professional experience includes M&A financial due diligence, process reviews and financial statements audit.
