At RSM we are proud champions of gender equality, fair and equal pay and an inclusive workplace for all.
Our latest submission to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) underscores our commitment to the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2021, and our 2023/24 report highlights the tangible progress we’ve made in closing the gender pay gap.
We are pleased to report a median total remuneration pay gap of just 1.1% far below the industry benchmark of 16.0%. Our average total remuneration gap stands at 9.5%, compared to the industry average of 15.6%. These figures reflect our unwavering dedication to fair and equitable pay.
RSM is also making significant strides in gender diversity within our Senior Leadership Group, with women now representing 27% of senior leaders as of February 2025, a steady increase over the past four years. Additionally, we are proud to have been re-certified as a family-inclusive workplace, earning an impressive 81% score across the National Work and Family Standards.
Our commitment to gender equality is further demonstrated through various ongoing initiatives:
- Conduct regular pay reviews and audits to identify and address any pay disparities
- Analyse engagement data from our quarterly surveys and monitor and act on any differences
- Support team members with parenting and caring responsibilities, wellbeing, and flexible work
- Have a robust DEI Strategy with a current focus on inclusion
- Ongoing training and mentoring opportunities across the firm to develop people’s skills and career
- Providing a meaningful career at RSM and increasing the Director and Partner pipeline and inclusive leadership culture
At RSM, we believe in creating an inclusive workplace culture where everyone can achieve success. This commitment benefits our people, our clients, and the firm as a whole. We are confident that our initiatives will continue to reduce our gender pay gap over time and foster a more diverse and inclusive workplace for everyone.
