Life in Regional Australia is an extraordinary journey, and we're thrilled to have you on board as a valued member of our local community.
This year has been one of significant growth and achievement for RSM Australia. We are proud to announce that we have won the Client Choice Awards for 2024, marking our sixth consecutive year of receiving this honour.
Furthermore, we are delighted to introduce our new in-house economist, Devika Shivadekar. Devika has been diligently monitoring key macroeconomic indicators and has had the pleasure of visiting many RSM offices across Australia to share her insights, including regional areas such as Moora in Western Australia and Toowoomba in Queensland.
Our national growth continues with our national staff numbers surpassing 1,800 and our ranking in the AFR soaring to #7. Additionally, we have bolstered our suite of services in Data & Analytics, Cyber Security, and dedicated ESG Consulting, further solidifying our commitment to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions.
As we wrap up the 2024 financial year, it's amazing how quickly things can change.
We experienced a wet and wild winter, followed by a very hot spring and a long, hot, and dry summer. In addition to this, we faced a tough livestock market and rising interest rates. As a result, the financial outlook for 2024 is significantly different than what we had anticipated in 2023. However, I always try to maintain a positive outlook and look forward to whatever challenges we will face in 2025. I wish everyone a successful year ahead.

We are thrilled to announce that RSM has once again been honoured with the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) in 2024.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that RSM has been recognised for its unparalleled dedication to client service excellence.
In addition to winning the Best Accounting & Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) category for the sixth year in a row, we have also been awarded first place in three other categories:

We have some important updates to share with you about our team. 
Firstly, we would like to extend our best wishes to Hannah Ciccone as she embarks on a new adventure in Fremantle. After spending five wonderful years with us in the Manjimup office (and an additional five years with Sheryl Thomson prior to our merger), Hannah is ready to try out city life. We wish her all the best in her new position at the RSM office in Fremantle, and we are confident that she will continue to excel there.
On a positive note, we are excited to introduce a new member to our team - Marie Parker. She has joined our RSM team in Manjimup, bringing with her valuable experience. After spending the last six months working on her family's potato farm, Marie is eager to transition into a more comfortable office environment. Please help us give Marie a warm welcome to our office.
Pemberton Small Business Week 
In the community, we returned to the Pemberton Small Business Week for another round of Xero wisdom from Vaughan Jeffery, who shared his insights with the eager participants. And the 19th RSM Southern Forest Regional Wine Show dazzled the crowd, and we applaud the victorious Ampersand Sparkling for taking home the winning prize.
