Leading professional services firm RSM Australia has boosted its senior leadership numbers with 22 new appointments, commencing July 1.

RSM Chief Executive Partner Jamie O’Rourke said the significant number of appointments reflects the firm’s exponential growth.

“As our firm continues to grow and diversify, it’s important that our senior leadership grows alongside it too,” Mr O’Rourke said.

“With 13 percent growth in staff since 2022, these 22 new appointments align with our strategic focus on expansion and confirm our position as middle market advisor of choice.

“It’s also pleasing to see 18 of the 22 appointments are internal promotions, reflecting our commitment to support and nurture the career progression of our internal talent.”

In addition to the new appointments, Research & Development Partner Jessica Olivier has been elected to the National Executive for a three-year term.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jessica onto the National Executive, and I look forward to her contribution to the firm over the next three years,” Mr O’Rourke said.

Mr O’Rourke said the new appointments reflected RSM’s strategic commitment to increasing their female talent pipeline and participation at senior leadership.

“As an organisation we’re committed to creating a level playing field for our female leaders to progress,” he said.

The appointments were announced at RSM’s National Leadership Retreat in May this year, where nearly all of the new Partners were in attendance, with the exception of Nicole Mohan who is currently on parental leave.
