The Thriving Suburbs Program offers grants of up to $15 million towards community infrastructure in greater capital city areas.
The Thriving Suburbs Program (TSP) will support the costs of upgrading, expanding or constructing community infrastructure in urban, suburban or peri-urban areas.
The TSP particularly seeks to support infrastructure projects that address unmet needs, achieve social outcomes and support sustainable community growth and liveability in these areas.
The total pool is $350 million. Grants between $500,000 and $15 million are available and can cover between 50% and 90% of project costs.
An applicant must be:
- Incorporated not-for-profit organisations
- Local government agencies and bodies
Projects must be located in a Greater Capital City Statistical Area.
