The following Australian organisations can apply: Incorporated entities, Research organisations and Government organisations.
The QCESCDP – Round 1 will support projects that strengthen Indo-Pacific solar PV, hydrogen electrolyser and battery supply chains.
Applications anticipated to open in November 2024.

The Quad Clean Energy Supply Chain Diversification Program will offer grants of up to $2.5 million to R&D or feasibility projects involving both Australian and Indo-Pacific organisations.

The QCESCDP – Round 1 will support projects that strengthen Indo-Pacific solar PV, hydrogen electrolyser and battery supply chains by addressing:

  • Raw material processing
  • Component manufacturing
  • Assembly
  • Recycling.

Funding will be available across two streams:

  • Research and development projects: to improve supply chain efficiencies, lower costs or reduce material dependencies
  • Feasibility study projects: to support business case development for a new facility in the Indo-Pacific.

The total pool is $25 million. Grants of between $100,000 and $2.5 million will be available.

  • Research organisations
  • Government organisations.

Australian organisations must deliver a joint project with an Indo-Pacific organisation from an economy listed in Table 1.
