The Coles Nurture Fund (CNF) provides investment to small to medium sized businesses in Australia’s food and grocery sector to achieve productivity improvements and capture new market opportunities.
Applications open on Monday, 20 January 2025 and close Friday, 14 February at 5pm AEDT

The Coles Nurture Fund is offering grants of up to $500,000 and unlike many grants, the funding can be used to cover up to 100% of project costs.

The Coles Nurture Fund (CNF) provides investment to small to medium sized businesses in Australia’s food and grocery sector to achieve productivity improvements and capture new market opportunities.

A strong emphasis is placed on the development of unique projects that drive the adoption of innovative technology and provide outstanding sustainability benefits.

Projects must also demonstrate strategic alignment with the food and grocery sector in areas such as fresh produce, food processing, grocery, energy efficiency, logistics/transport, IT and packaging.

Grants of up to $500,000 are available and can cover up to 100% of project costs.

Applicants must demonstrate how they will fund anything over $500,000

The following Australian organisations can apply on behalf of a consortium:

Small to medium sized businesses with

  • a minimum of 2 years trading history
  • less than $25 million in annual revenue
  • 50 or fewer full-time employees.

Note: Businesses don’t need to be a supplier to Coles to apply.
