TEAM NEWS
In September, we had the pleasure of attending the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) Darling Downs and South-West Gala Evening at the Church Theatre in the Empire Theatre precinct.
This prestigious event was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the significant milestones of CA members across the region. The evening honoured new members, membership anniversaries, and fellowship milestones, showcasing the dedication and achievements within our professional community.
We are incredibly proud to announce that several of our colleagues were recognised during the event. Kirstie Jesshope, Lachlan Munro, Sarah Kelso, and Luke Wiley, all from our office, were welcomed as new members of CAANZ. Their hard work and commitment to the accounting profession have been exemplary, and we are thrilled to see them achieve this milestone. Additionally, Will Laird was awarded a fellowship, a prestigious recognition of his significant contributions to the accounting profession and the broader business community in Toowoomba. Will's dedication and impact have been truly inspiring.
In other exciting news, we are delighted to share that Wrex Stubbs from our office got engaged to Sophie on 7 October. Congratulations to Wrex and Sophie on this wonderful milestone.
We also want to highlight the remarkable achievements of Elle De Nooyer, who competed in the Enduro Mountain Bike National and Oceania Championships in Collie, WA, from 14 - 20 October. Elle's performance was outstanding, winning both the U21 and the Elite categories for Nationals and Oceania. Her victories have qualified her for the Elite Enduro World Cup next year, where she will have the honour of representing Australia at the world championships. We are incredibly proud of Elle's accomplishments and look forward to cheering her on in her future endeavours.
These achievements and milestones reflect the diverse talents and dedication within our office. We are proud to celebrate these successes and look forward to many more in the future.
