TEAM NEWS
We are delighted to share that Tori Dahlitz and her partner, Harry, are expecting a new addition to their family in February next year. Tori will be heading off on maternity leave at the end of this year. We wish Tori and Harry all the best as they embark on the journey of parenthood. In September, the team enjoyed a family BBQ and bonfire night at John Sinclair’s farm. The kids had a fantastic time with bubbles and glow sticks and, of course, toasting marshmallows on the fire. We are proud to announce that Cherie Bascomb was recently awarded the Tiger of the Year by the Boston Netball Club. This award is a testament to her ongoing loyalty and commitment to the club. It looks like her daughter Bonnie is set to follow in her footsteps! In August, the RSM team enjoyed another successful year at the EP Field Days. It was wonderful to see so many of our clients and soak up the atmosphere of this event, which reflects the heart and soul of the agribusiness industry. We had the pleasure of hosting RSM’s expert economist, Devika Shivadekar, at our Economic Update Event at the Port Lincoln Hotel in October. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event a success. RSM was pleased to be a Gold Sponsor of the 2024 Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Gala Night, recognising excellence in business. Bryson Keeley presented the RSM Innovation Award to Nu-View Aluminium Windows Doors & Glass. We are also proud to acknowledge our clients who were winners on the night: JP Cabinets, Port Lincoln Meat Service, Shaun & Steph Kraft, and Lincoln Cinema – Angela Perin & Steven Tokarski (photo courtesy of Robert Lang Photography). We are excited to welcome Leanne Spearen, to our Business Advisory team. Leanne joined RSM Financial Services in July last year and has now taken up the role of Senior Administration Assistant in our BA team following the restructuring of the Financial Services division. In August, we welcomed Senior Accountant Pauline Hurrell to our team. Pauline brings a wealth of industry experience, having worked in accounting for eight years. She is looking forward to finishing her studies in December after a very busy seven years juggling study, work, and family life. Outside of work, Pauline enjoys spending time outdoors camping and beaching with her family and two crazy kelpies. | |
