Cameron, Marie and the team in Katanning would like to wish all our wonderful clients and contacts a safe and happy festive season and every success for the new year.
The past six months have been incredibly busy and productive for our team. As we approach the holiday season, please note that our office will be closed from 23rd December 2024 and will reopen on 6th January 2025.

CLIENT CHOICE AWARD WINNERS
We are thrilled to announce that RSM has once again been honoured with the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) in 2024.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that RSM has been recognised for its unparalleled dedication to client service excellence.
In addition to winning the Best Accounting & Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) category for the sixth year in a row, we have also been awarded first place in three other categories:

In June, we welcomed Thandie Sambana to our office. Thandie is a UK graduate and an ACCA member, and we are thrilled to have her on our team.
July was a festive month as the Katanning team attended the end-of-financial-year dinner dance in Perth. It was a wonderful evening filled with celebration and camaraderie. We also enjoyed an EOFY dinner at Oscar’s Restaurant, located at the Royal Exchange Hotel, which provided a perfect setting for our team to unwind and reflect on the past year.
August saw Marie, Amber, Courtney, and Leana delivering a Xero Workshop in Tambellup. Their expertise and dedication were evident as they shared valuable insights with the attendees.
In September, Marie, Amber, and Thandie attended the Newdegate Machinery Field Day, where they engaged with the community and showcased our services. The RSM girls also wore yellow to promote awareness of R U OK Day, highlighting the importance of mental health.
October was a busy month with Cameron Taylor and Jimmy Smit from the Narrogin office competing in the Cape-to-Cape four-day mountain bike race. Their determination and teamwork were truly inspiring.
Marie Van Blommestein and Nathan Walter hosted a Make Xero Count workshop in Boyup Brook, further demonstrating our commitment to client education and support.
In November, Marie and Amber, along with Narrogin staff members, attended the Four Pillars Seminar on Family Law, Succession Planning, Finance, and Tax. This seminar provided valuable knowledge that will benefit our clients. Cameron Taylor, a long-time member of Katanning Rotary, helped organise and run the annual international dinner, raising an impressive $10,000 for MSWA. Additionally, Marie celebrated her 40th birthday with the Katanning staff members.
Throughout these months, we also proudly sponsored the Tambellup Golf Club in the Southern Districts Golf Associations Men’s Championship 2024. Our team’s dedication to community involvement and professional development has made the past six months truly remarkable. We look forward to continuing this momentum and achieving even greater success together.
