She specialises in the preparation and ongoing analysis of financial statements, whether monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual, to help clients make informed decisions about their business operations.

In addition to financial reporting, Lidija works with businesses on cash flow preparation, budgeting, and progress reviews, providing advice to help them maintain financial stability and optimise their performance. She also offers recommendations and support for accounting software packages, ensuring that clients are using the right tools for their needs. Lidija’s expertise extends to tax planning and the development of strategies tailored to the unique needs of small businesses, sole traders, and large corporations.

Prior to joining RSM, Lidija gained a diverse range of experience that has shaped her expertise in business advisory and accounting. She started her career in the not-for-profit sector, working as an Assistant Business Manager where she worked closely with the Business Manager and board of directors. In this role, Lidija was responsible for managing payroll, preparing reports, and providing key insights to guide strategic decision-making. This experience helped her develop a strong understanding of financial management within a mission-driven environment. Lidija also spent five years at a local public accounting firm, where she managed a portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to larger enterprises. During this time, she developed long-term relationships with clients and assisted them with everything from tax planning to retirement strategies, gaining a deep understanding of their unique needs and goals.

Lidija’s earlier career included working as a bartender and waitress, roles that helped her develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills. These experiences laid the foundation for her client-focused approach and ability to adapt to a variety of situations.

Outside of work, Lidija is a busy mum who enjoys spending time with her two children. Her hobbies often include playing with Barbies and monster trucks, going to the park, shopping for ice creams or milkshakes, and travelling with her family. She loves exploring new places and catching up with family and friends.
