Before joining RSM, Portia gained valuable experience in financial analysis, financial statement preparation, and treasury functions within the extractive sector. This role provided her with a strong understanding of complex financial systems and reporting requirements, which she now applies to benefit her clients across various industries.

Outside of work, Portia loves travelling and immersing herself in different cultures. Exploring new destinations or revisiting favourite spots, she draws inspiration from the diversity of people, traditions, and experiences she encounters.

At home, Portia cherishes time with her three young daughters. Balancing her professional career with family life has taught her adaptability, patience, and empathy—qualities she applies when working with clients. Her role as a mother has taught her the importance of adaptability and empathy, qualities that she brings to her work with clients.
