Sonia is an Accountant in our Business Advisory division, servicing the local Geraldton community.

Sonia has specilaised in a variety of financial and business strategies ranging from navigating complex tax legislation to identifying the best structure for small family businesses.

Her attention to detail and effective analysis stems from her razor-sharp numerical skills which allow Sonia to ensure that her strategies are correct down to the last decimal. Such attention to detail has led her to hold senior positions throughout her career.

Working in a high-paced and stressful environment can be difficult for some people, however, Sonia finds motivation through her passion for advising both private and public companies on transactions and valuations. That is why she continues to do so after 15 years of experience.

Before life at RSM, Sonia was a Group Tax Manager for a leading Cape Town retail company where she built and ran a robust management system to meet their ambitious growth goals.

When Sonia isn't liaising with businesses and ensuring their financials and business strategies are up-to-date, she enjoys doing arts and crafts in her spare time.
