RSM's local newsletter.
As we are back from the holiday break, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your trust and partnership throughout the year.
We love working with you and look forward to continuing our partnership.
The past six months have seen intermittent rain, filling most of the dams.
Hay crops have grown, been mowed, raked, and baled. We hope there's enough to get us through the summer. The truffle season was successful, with record harvests for most farmers. Currently, avocados are being harvested. Best wishes to our farmers for the summer season. While we don't wish for rain, we hope it's not as dry as last year. As we approach the holiday season, please note our office will be closed from 20 December 2024 and will reopen on 6 January 2025.
As always, we have included some insights and resources we think will be of particular value to you over the coming months.

TEAM NEWS
In July, we had the pleasure of attending the RSM ball in Perth. It was a fantastic evening filled with great company, delicious food, and lots of dancing. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues from different offices and celebrate our achievements together.
We are proud to have supported the Southern Forest and Valleys Regional Wine Show for the 20th consecutive year. Nathan Walter attended the event to present the Wine of the Show award to the winner, which was Silkwood Wine Sparkling Wine. It was an honour to be part of such a prestigious event and to celebrate the excellence of local winemakers.
In October, our Manjimup and Kattaning offices held a joint Make Xero Count workshop in Boyup Brook, followed by a Sundowner at the Boyup Brook Club. Both events were well supported by our clients, and it was great to get out of the office and socialise with them.
We are excited to welcome Peter Smith to the RSM team in Manjimup. Peter brings a wealth of experience, having started his career as an Auditor in the UK before migrating to Australia. He continued his profession here and eventually took the reins of the now-defunct Alinta Gas. Peter reassures us he had nothing to do with the Alinta gas failures, and we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our team.
Congratulations are in order for Keri-Anne Dimitriou, who was awarded the Club Person of the Year at the recent Deanmill Football Club End of Year Cabaret. This award is a well-deserved recognition for the many hours she has spent volunteering at the club. We are incredibly proud of Keri-Anne’s dedication and commitment to her community.
These past months have been filled with significant events and achievements, and we look forward to continuing this momentum into the future. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making these moments memorable.
