As we are back from the holiday break, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your trust and partnership throughout the year.

Over the past six months, our office has been bustling with activity and exciting events. In June, we celebrated the End of Financial Year with a party and planning day at the Wagga Country Club.
In October, we had the pleasure of hosting the National Executive team, including Chief Executive Partner Jamie O’Rourke and other key leaders. Additionally, our new office saw some friendly competition with a table tennis tournament, culminating on Melbourne Cup Day. Congratulations to Thomas Mathewson for winning the tournament and to Jade Wade for securing the Division 2 title!

We are thrilled to announce that RSM has once again been honoured with the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) in 2024.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that RSM has been recognised for its unparalleled dedication to client service excellence.
In addition to winning the Best Accounting & Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) category for the sixth year in a row, we have also been awarded first place in three other categories:

On 1 October, Chamberlain SBR merged with Wagga’s Restructuring and Recovery Division.
As part of the merger, we welcomed Chris, Steven, Matt, and Toby to our Wagga team. In addition to receiving the team from Chamberlain SBR, we are pleased to welcome Corinn Lambert, Emma Foster, Karl Fleck, and Marie Suico to our Business Advisory team, and Nicole Marlow to our Restructuring & Recovery team.
Congratulations to Sandy Arthur, who is now a CA member after completing her final subject. The new financial year has been full of excitement. We wish to celebrate Assistant Manager Bernadette, who married her husband Sam in August, and Senior Accountant Sandy, who married her husband Jordan in October. All the best for your future together.
Our SMSF manager and specialist, Toni Scott, has celebrated a massive 10 years with RSM and 10 years of servicing our clients in all things SMSF. Congratulations on this tremendous achievement, and we look forward to celebrating Toni's next 10 years.
Over the last six months, our staff have been involved in a number of community fundraising events, including the Wagga Wagga Rotary Book Fair and Binda Quick Shear.
We have also attended the following training events: the Xero Roadshow in Albury, the Business Advisory Eastern States Conference in Melbourne, and an Economic Update hosted by Economist Devika Shivadekar. Staff from the Albury office also visited the new Wagga office recently to participate in a women’s leadership development session with Devika and executive Jess Olivier.
Temora Football Club, which we proudly sponsor, recently held their fundraiser and showcased their jersey featuring the RSM logo. Congratulations to the Lake Albert Sharks on winning the 2024 1st Grade Pascoe Cup, made even more special by their third consecutive 2nd Grade Gardiner Shield premiership. As long-time sponsors, we are thrilled for all the players and members involved.
Luke Nixon recently competed in the University Nationals in Canberra, winning both the Road Race and Overall Men’s Individual points score events. We hosted a morning tea in support of R U OK Day on 12 September. Amanda Beckhouse attended the Business NSW Awards for the Riverina Murray Region.
