Life in Regional Australia is an extraordinary journey, and we're thrilled to have you on board as a valued member of our local community.

As we approach the end of the financial year and embark on the tax season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the triumphs and challenges we have experienced in the past six months and to share some of the highlights with you.

We understand that this year has presented its fair share of challenges for many. In this edition of The Full Account, we have curated valuable insights and expert advice tailored specifically for our local market. We genuinely understand your needs, and our aim is to equip you with the knowledge you need to excel in your business endeavours.

This year has been quite busy for us at the Toowoomba office. We recently hosted our annual Federal Budget Breakfast, an enriching experience which provided useful insights for local business leaders. The event was a success, and the expertise of our partner, Will Laird, has been recognized in multiple news outlets, solidifying his position as a thought leader in business and taxation.

Additionally, Ben Twidale has been sharing his knowledge by delivering informative sessions for local businesses and the Australian Psychology Society. We also have some exciting personnel updates to share, including the return of Kristelle Stark from maternity leave and the addition of Emily Fry to our team as a Personal Assistant and Administration Officer.

Our team is here to provide expert guidance and support as we review your finances and meet tax obligations together. Your success is our priority, and we look forward to connecting with you soon.

Thank you for choosing RSM as your trusted accounting partner.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Toowoomba

Our team has been actively engaged in the local community, hosting the highly successful Toowoomba RSM Federal Budget Breakfast in partnership with The Toowoomba Chamber. With nearly 150 attendees, the event featured informative presentations by RSM Toowoomba Partner, Will Laird, who shared valuable insights into the Budget's implications for our region, local businesses, and various industries.

Joined by Ian McFarlane, Chief Executive of the Queensland Resource Council, and Geoff McDonald, Deputy Mayor of Toowoomba Regional Council, the breakfast also included panel discussions where guests had the opportunity to ask questions. The event received positive feedback, and our team's expertise, particularly Will Laird's thought leadership on business and taxation matters, has been recognized in various news outlets. Additionally, our team members have organized and delivered other successful events, such as a condensed Federal Budget highlights package for local SMEs and informative sessions on optimising private practice, tax planning, and software review for the Australian Psychology Society. These activities showcase our commitment to contributing to the growth and success of our local community.
