Life in Regional Australia is an extraordinary journey, and we're thrilled to have you on board as a valued member of our local community.
This year has been one of significant growth and achievement for RSM Australia. We are proud to announce that we have won the Client Choice Awards for 2024, marking our sixth consecutive year of receiving this honour.
Furthermore, we are delighted to introduce our new in-house economist, Devika Shivadekar. Devika has been diligently monitoring key macroeconomic indicators and has had the pleasure of visiting many RSM offices across Australia to share her insights, including regional areas such as Moora in Western Australia and Toowoomba in Queensland.
Our national growth continues with our national staff numbers surpassing 1,800 and our ranking in the AFR soaring to #7. Additionally, we have bolstered our suite of services in Data & Analytics, Cyber Security, and dedicated ESG Consulting, further solidifying our commitment to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions.
Reflecting on our growth, it's astounding to think that just 11 years ago, we had only one person born overseas.
Today, our diverse team is a testament to our inclusive and global outlook. Half of our office hails from across the globe, including China, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, Germany, New Zealand, Korea, England, and Sri Lanka. We think this enriches our office culture with a variety of perspectives and experiences. Thank you for being part of our journey. We are thrilled to announce that RSM has once again been honoured with the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) in 2024.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that RSM has been recognised for its unparalleled dedication to client service excellence.
In addition to winning the Best Accounting & Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) category for the sixth year in a row, we have also been awarded first place in three other categories:

We recently bid a fond farewell to Deb and Geoff, who have both dedicated 25 years of service to our company.
Geoff, our beloved "Minister for Cake," has been a cornerstone of our morning tea tradition.
Please welcome Hannah, who joins us from the Manjimup office, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to our team.

Our team in Fremantle provides ongoing support to the wider WA Regional business with Nadee (Esperance), Jess (Moora and Jurien Bay) and Jason (Northam) providing regular support to our regional colleagues. It’s great to have Matt work from our office and be part of our team whilst working for our Albany office.
Our Friday lunch tradition remains a highlight of the week, where team members explore the culinary delights of Fremantle together.
