This year has been one of significant growth and achievement for RSM Australia. We are proud to announce that we have won the Client Choice Awards for 2024, marking our sixth consecutive year of receiving this honour.
We are also delighted to introduce our new in-house economist, Devika Shivadekar. Devika has been actively monitoring major macroeconomic indicators and has visited many RSM offices across Australia, including Toowoomba, where she presented at a Round Table Business Breakfast at the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce.
Our local office was also proud to once again host our exclusive Federal Budget Breakfast, where Will Laird shared his insights into the latest Federal Budget and its impacts on the Toowoomba business community. And furthering our support for businesses in Toowoomba, we are a proud sponsor of the Business Excellence Awards in 2024, specifically sponsoring the Innovation & Technology category. We look forward to seeing everyone at the black tie launch event in October.
Our national growth continues to be robust, with an increase in staff numbers to over 1,800 as well as advancing in the AFR ranking to #7. We are thrilled to announce that RSM has once again been honoured with the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) in 2024.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that RSM has been recognised for its unparalleled dedication to client service excellence.

As our company expands, we recognise the importance of bringing in fresh talent to better serve our growing client base.
We are thrilled to introduce our three new talented undergraduates: Wrex, Mitchell, and Elle. We are excited to witness the innovative perspectives and fresh ideas they will bring to our clients.
Furthermore, we are delighted to welcome Ellika Cabreros (pictured) as our new Senior Accountant. Ellika, a Chartered Accountant, is passionate about exploring new processes and leveraging technology to enhance productivity. A fun fact about Ellika is that she was the Toowoomba Christmas Pickleball Champ - and yes, that is a real thing. We checked!
At RSM, we are committed to giving back to our local communities. This commitment includes hosting local business events like the Federal Budget Breakfast (pictured), sponsoring business awards, and supporting various charities and causes at both local and national levels. Our team in Toowoomba recently organised a bake-off event to support Cancer Council Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. While the event has ended, donations are still welcome for anyone who would like to join us in supporting this important cause - every dollar makes a difference.
