Biography 

Monir was an ex-trainee of MMH. Before re-joining MMH in August 2022, Monir gathered experience in the TAX & VAT Compliance departments of MGH Group, the leading conglomerate in Bangladesh, and BRAC, the largest NGO in the world for a cumulative 8 years.

Monir is responsible for VAT-related services including VAT accounting, return preparation, recurring compliance-related services, advisory, appellate services, and dispute resolution.

Monir is most passionate about combining his in-depth knowledge of VAT knowledge with a field of diverse clients. VAT accounting, return preparation, and navigating compliance accurately. Additionally, advising clients, handling appeals, and resolving disputes require sharp expertise and the ability to tailor solutions.

Monir prospers on testing his knowledge in his field of VAT–related services that require him to be acquainted with all possible rules and SROs that can help him to smoothly encompass the issue at hand and provide accurate solutions.

He holds B.Com (Hons) and MBS degrees in Accounting from a renowned university in Bangladesh and pursuing a CA professional level from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. Also, he is an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) and VAT Consultant registered with the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
