Matthew Haymes

Consulting Director

Matthew joined RSM Cayman in 2022, transferring from our Canadian offices where he spent 10+ years as part of our actuarial consulting practice. Throughout his time at RSM, he provides strategic and technical and strategic support in the reinsurance, captive insurance, life insurance, property and casualty, and credit insurance industries. Matthew has a diverse skillset and perspective developed through a wide exposure to varying projects across the broader insurance industry, especially through the implementation, and strategic use of captive insurance structures.

Matthew has been pivotal in providing a wide range of services to various insurance, specialty finance, not for profit, and affinity clients. These include liability valuations and actuarial support services, strategic insurance management and structuring services, captive structuring and management, product design, product pricing, capital valuations and other risk-based valuations, and reinsurance structuring services. Additionally, Matthew has provided various risk management consulting services including the identification, analysis, modelling, and management for financial, operational, and insurance risks.
