Senior Manager

Andre is an Assurance Senior Manager and has over 17 years of experience providing assurance and related services, which include 14 years in the financial services markets.

He began his career with one of the big four firms globally in South Africa, and then moved over to the Cayman Islands, where he spent 10 years with the same firm and a further 3 years working remotely with another audit firm. His experience relates to auditing of various types of fund structures, as well as difference types of investment vehicles. He also has experience in auditing service providers for investment funds, such as offshore directorship service companies, offshore law firms, as well entities providing fund administrator services (some of the largest globally and in the Cayman Islands). He has also worked together with many international offices based in countries such as USA, Brazil, UK, Hong Kong, Luxemburg, Japan, Dubai, Mauritius etc.

Andre joined RSM Cayman in January 2024 as a Senior Manager and his portfolio is diverse, lending him experience in investment funds (hedge and private equity). Andre is also in charge of managing and overseeing the RSM South Africa assurance team that support the RSM Cayman based audit teams (roles include training, mentoring, audit work, risk management/quality control and feedback).
