As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will take charge of medium to complex audit engagements, overseeing the process from start to finish with a keen eye for detail and quality. Your role will involve performing technical reviews on lower-risk engagements, ensuring that audit work aligns with the highest standards. You will be responsible for planning risk assessments and testing, managing the flow of the engagement, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.

Building strong client relationships is a priority, as you focus on delivering excellence and maintaining high service standards. You’ll supervise and guide the audit team, ensuring work is properly planned, monitored, and executed. Additionally, you will oversee the coordination of operations, managing budgets, costs, and resources to maintain smooth engagement progress. Finally, you will play a key role in identifying ethical, accounting, and conflict issues, promptly referring them to management to ensure integrity and compliance throughout the process.
 

Your background and expertise will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • ACCA/ACA qualification and membership certificate.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Audit.
  • Previous experience in performing audits for financial institutions will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with relevant software systems.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
