As an Audit Senior Associate L2, you will play a key role in documenting and evaluating complex accounting and internal control systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the audit process. You will apply analytical procedures during all stages of the audit—from planning to fieldwork and completion—while carefully evaluating audit and fraud risks to safeguard the integrity of the process. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing auditing, accounting, and reporting issues, ensuring all aspects of the audit are thoroughly examined
Your role will also include preparing detailed plans and budgets for each assignment, ensuring that engagements are completed within the approved budget and timeframe. You will lead and coordinate the audit team, ensuring high-quality service delivery while also drafting commercially aware and practical management letters that provide actionable business insights. Additionally, you will be involved in evaluating team performance, contributing to team meetings, and preparing effective presentations for clients and senior management. This position allows you to develop both your technical and leadership skills as you progress towards a managerial role.
Your background and expertise will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of’ experience in the Audit industry or relevant field.
- ACCA/ACA qualification and membership.
- Good knowledge of auditing software.
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
- Negotiation skills in combination with a client-centric approach.
- Excellent people and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong managerial skills.
- Motivated and career-driven.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
