MCC Karydakis is a member of Multi-Color Corporation (MCC), one of the world’s largest and most awarded label printers supporting the world’s most prominent brands.
MCC Karydakis is looking to enhance their team with an HR Business Partner, to undertake duties and activities within the company related to aligning human resources policies and initiatives with the organization's goals and objectives, enhancing workforce performance and contributing to overall business success.
Overview of the opportunity
The HR Business Partner role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including HR integration with business objectives and operations, recruitment, payroll administration, and leading key HR projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing an HRIS system and driving key HR processes such as Performance Management, Merit Increases, Talent Review, and more. The HR Business Partner will report to the company’s General Manager and to the HR Director Global IML and will be based at MCC Karydakis local plant in Kalivia Thorikou, Attica.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as a HR advisor to plant management, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to identify talent needs, succession planning opportunities, and performance improvement strategies.
- Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and promote a positive work environment.
Work closely together with the IML HR team/MCC HR team to implement a consistent HR policy across the globe.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Lead recruitment efforts for the local plant, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, to attract top talent to the organization.
HR Projects
- Introduce and align global process and initiatives to the local team ensuring seamless integration and consistent implementation across all functions.
- Lead the implementation of an HRIS system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, configure the system, and provide training to users.
- Drive key HR processes such as Performance Management, Merit Increases, and Talent Review, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and propose actionable solutions to enhance HR processes and practices.
Payroll Administration
- Collect all payroll related data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the external payroll provider for ensuring timely and proper payroll calculation.
- Manage payroll data and records.
Required Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in HR business partnering, payroll administration, recruitment, and project management, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in the use of HRIS Systems (knowledge of Dayforce would be considered a plus).
- Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel spread sheet skills and analytical database experience.
- Fluent English.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations, would be considered an asset.
