Simon Rattigan

Consulting Director

Simon is a Director in RSM Ireland's Forensic and Investigation Services practice. He provides specialist forensic services including accounting support for commercial claims and disputes, and investigation into financial issues, fraudulent accounting and misconduct.

Simon is experienced in conducting investigations into concerns or responding to allegations of fraud and misconduct across multiple industries and sectors. His skills include producing clear and articulate analysis in complex situations, utilising expertise in data analysis, investigative interviewing and device analytics.

He has provided expert opinion on matters of quantum for various commercial disputes, post-acquisition disputes, and independent expert determinations. He has supported clients on both plaintiff and defendant side through mediation hearings and settlement negotiations. 

Simon is a Business and Economics graduate from Trinity College Dublin and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting with Distinction. He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
