Employee’s share of EPF Contribution Rate reduced to 9% for the year 2021
2021年员工公积金缴纳率下调至9%

Pursuant to the Government’s announcement of Budget 2021 for the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), the new statutory contribution rate for employees below 60 years old will be reduced from 11 per cent (11%) to nine per cent (9%). However, contribution rates for employees aged 60 years old and above remain unchanged.
根据政府宣布的2021年财政预算案，60岁以下的员工最新公积金缴纳率将从11%降低至9%，60岁以上的员工则保持不变。

This new rate will be in effect from January 2021 wages (February 2021 contribution) up to the December 2021 wages (January 2022 contribution).
最新的公积金缴纳率将有效于2021年1月份薪金（即2020年2月缴纳）至2021年12月薪金（即2022年1月缴纳）。

Employees who wish to maintain the statutory contribution rate at 11% are required to apply via Borang KWSP 17A (Khas 2021), which will be made available on the KWSP website (www.kwsp.gov.my) from 1 December 2020 onwards.  The completed form must then be submitted to their respective employers for online registration via i-Akaun (Employer), which will begin from 14 December 2020.
有意维持现有11%缴纳率的员工，2020年12月1日起可从公积金局官网(www.kwsp.gov.my)下载并填写 KWSP 17A（2021年专用）表格。填写表格后须呈交给各自的雇主，以便通过i-账户（雇主）进行线上注册，自12月14日起开放注册。
