BIOGRAPHY

Charlie has a wide range of experiences in the fields of internal audit, IT audit, compliance and statutory audit, risk management, corporate governance audit, financial management, investigation audit, sustainability & ESG consulting and internal control due diligence review for companies seeking for IPO.

He has led operational audit engagement in various industries in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia. In addition, he has executed due diligence review for companies seeking IPO on Bursa Malaysia.

He is also involved in engagements relating to Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act) Amendment section 17A, Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLCFT) and IT audit. Scope of IT audit comprises of data integrity, IT general control and cybersecurity.

Moreover, as ERM consultant, he has assisted clients to set up ERM framework and supported risk assessment for business entities in line with salient points of ISO31000: 2018 and COSO ERM framework.

In the past 2 years, he has led sustainability and ESG consulting engagement for companies listed in Bursa Malaysia and Singapore Exchange (SGX).
