RSM Mozambique's Development Consulting Service Line recently completed a Feasibility Study for an international client, with the goal of supporting the unlocking of donor-funding for critical health sector interventions related to sexual and reproductive health and non-communicable disease management.
According to data published by UN OCHA, Mozambique is the recipient of approximately US$290million in foreign aid annually. This funding is used to support the country in a variety of sectors including health, education, gender/inclusion, peacebuilding, and agriculture.
Feasibility studies are an effective tool for ensuring that funding is spent correctly, through programming that is impactful, effective, relevant, coherent, efficient, and sustainable, helping both donors and NGOs to explore key characteristics about their target populations, to test the potential effect that their programming decisions might have and to map contextual factors/actors that will lead to the highest return on the programming’s investment.
If you are a foreign donor or NGO representative who needs help designing your interventions in Mozambique, or if you are a private sector actor who wants to develop impactful social programming, contact us today so we can help you achieve your goals.
