On 20 September 2012, RSM will bring together its accounting network of 32,000 colleagues across 700 offices in 94 countries as part of RSM World Day – a celebration of the growth and success of the integrated network and an opportunity to showcase its capabilities and expertise around the world.

Around the world, RSM member firms will take part in RSM World Day by doing a wide variety of both external and internal communications campaigns, including advertising in local and international media, social, charity and business events, as well as competitions and marketing activity. RSM firms will celebrate with staff trips to national landmarks like the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids in Egypt, while other firms around the world will hold receptions for employees and clients, staff networking and team building days out and a variety of volunteer and charitable work.

The event marks an important demonstration of the values behind the recently launched RSM World brandmark which represents the global connectivity of the network and the wider ‘Connected for Success’ network ethos.

Jean Stephens, CEO, RSM explained, "RSM World Day is a celebration of our shared values as a strong, well connected global network of high quality audit, tax and advisory firms, unified on putting clients first and delivering commercial forward-thinking advice, quickly and efficiently.”

“RSM has a reputation for building strong personal relationships and demonstrating true entrepreneurial insight and ideas in the manner in which we work with both clients and our colleagues within the network. We seek to connect on a deeper level with our clients in order to earn their trust and respect, and we actively build closer connections with our teams across RSM to harness the power of the whole network for the benefit of our clients. The aim of RSM World Day is to champion our belief that we need to be connected if we are to be successful, and to reinforce our ethos of putting clients first.”

Following the global ‘Connected For Success’ advertising together with other efforts to continue to build the RSM brand profile, RSM members have recorded a 35% increase in the level of referred work between offices. The statistics reveal a significant increase in the number of both new and existing clients choosing RSM to serve them across international markets, with that support provided across more than two geographic territories.
