Lloyd Kirby
Managing Partner - Auckland North
Lloyd began his career in our Auckland city office where he built a solid skill base in the traditional aspects of accounting while nurturing an expanding base of inspirational and driven clients.
Over time Lloyd developed a passion for working with his clients to challenge the status quo and to look at expanding and growing their businesses – this approach was so successful; he was appointed as a partner in 2001.
Lloyd thrives on working at a high level without losing sight of the day-to-day reality and continues to work hard for his clients to keep them growing. Lloyd is a Board member of client corporations; is the Chair of a residential body corporate and a committee member (previous Chairperson) of a commercial body corporate.
Lloyd is also on RSM’s board of Directors and Marketing committee and has recently competed the Institute of Directors course to further hone his skills achieving a certificate in Company Directors.
In his spare time, Lloyd is an active member in the community and was a member of Rotary Club of North Harbour for many years where he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship award followed by a Paul Harris Sapphire award the following year.
Lloyd is a Trustee in the North Harbour Club which promotes and supports excellence in youth and is the chair of the North Harbour Club Sponsorship Committee.
Lloyd is happily married to Rosemary, who works at an Intermediate school, and they have a son who is completing a conjoint Law and Commerce Degree at Auckland University. (He is more interested in the law side than accounting though).
Lloyd is a regular gym attendee at Les Mills, loves travel and exploring, and enjoys the outdoors with the many walks, parks and beaches around Auckland and New Zealand. He also enjoys wine, good restaurants and cafes and having fun with family and friends.
Lloyd and his family live on the North Shore surrounded by native bush with their two noisy and destructive Tonkinese cats.

until they know how much you care”
