Brendan is an audit partner in the Auckland Central office, bringing a wealth of experience in middle-market, private, not-for-profit, and public sector audit engagements. With a career spanning over two decades, Brendan has built a reputation for his commitment to client relationships and his expertise in managing complex portfolios across various sectors.

Beginning his career as a graduate recruit at Staples Rodway in Auckland, he quickly advanced to Senior Audit Manager, honing his skills in audit management and client service. In 2004, he moved to a Big 4 firm, where he was promoted to Audit Partner in 2008. 

Over his 16-year tenure in Big 4, Brendan was promoted to Audit partner and handled high-profile audits, including engagements with Auckland International Airport Limited, Downer, and Moana New Zealand, delivering reliable, results-driven service over consecutive five-year terms. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Tile Space, an Auckland-based former audit client, where he gained valuable operational insights while leading the finance, warehousing, logistics, and customer service teams.

Brendan believes that strong, collaborative relationships are key to delivering the best outcomes for his clients when avigating the complexities of the audit landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce, University of Auckland 

Brendan enjoys supporting his 21 year old son, a chef, and his 19 year old daughter, who studies criminology and psychology at Otago University. In his spare time, he loves fly fishing, competing in national and international events, and is passionate about hunting.
