Following her studies, Bhavika began her accounting career as a graduate in 2003 with a middle tier firm in Central Auckland.

Starting at ground level has given Bhavika a solid base in all aspects of client accounting and, after excelling in the environment, saw her quickly progress to the role of senior manager.

After deciding it was time for a change Bhavika made the move to RSM to continue in the role of senior manager working closely with the partners and accounting team.

During her career, Bhavika has specialised in financial reporting requirements and group structure issues, company consolidations including complex tax calculations and family trust compliance requirements. Bhavika has extensive knowledge in cashflow forecasting including budgeting and assisted various business in improving cashflow and funding requirements.

As well as these areas of expertise, she has a keen interest in the implementation and support of accounting packages for clients and has enjoyed seeing a large number of clients grow from strength to strength with the assistance of these systems and internal processes.

Fluency in English, Hindi and Gujarati has also provided the opportunity for Bhavika to develop a large and varied client base across many industries.

Bhavika studied at the University of Auckland completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) with a double major in Accounting and Information systems, and became a Chartered Accountant in 2005.

Bhavika is also a Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a professional association of Chartered Accountants.
