Craig Cooper

Craig Cooper is a partner in our Business Advisory team and has been with RSM for over 18 years. Craig started with RSM as a graduate accountant, where his passion and drive quickly saw him progress to the role of Partner where he is now responsible for quality across the Business Advisory team.
Craig has a wide and varied client base, where he and the team have experience that spans many industries, from construction, medical and pharmaceutical, to technology, manufacturing, national retail chains, and professional services. Craig also has a significant number of multi-national clients in his portfolio where he works closely with both our tax team, and our RSM colleagues overseas to provide seamless cross border solutions to these clients. As a business advisory partner, Craig has extensive experience with financial reporting & taxation, cash flow and budgeting, succession planning, business restructuring and business sales/acquisitions.
During his time at RSM, Craig has developed a real passion for helping business owners achieve their goals, be it to grow their business, improve processes, maintain a healthy work-life balance or to retire in comfort. Craig understands the value in having strong and effective working relationships that allow clients to prosper in an ever-changing environment. Clear and constant communication between Craig and his clients means that his team has the information they need, when they need it to ensure the best results for our clients.
Craig has obtained qualifications from the University of Auckland in Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Management and Graduate Diploma in Accounting, and became a Chartered Accountant in 2009. Craig is also a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a professional association of Chartered Accountants.
