Elaine Yong 楊偉燕

Audit Partner, Auckland Central

Elaine is one of seven Audit Partners and is based in our Auckland Central office. Born and bred in Malaysia, Elaine began her life in New Zealand as an international student.

Elaine has more than 20 years of audit experience and an audit partner since 2005, she works with a wide range of middle market clients, from subsidiaries of foreign companies to NGOs. She has a diversified client base covering a broad range of industries, size and types of entities, and has a particular interest in the manufacturing industry.

Elaine was with another international network firm for 11 years, prior to the firms merging in 2016.  She is experienced in undertaking global audits to meet both global and local requirements.

Elaine is passionate about adding value to clients' business and the governance process.  Her focused approach ensures delivery of timely service.  Elaine is approachable and always accessible to clients.

Qualifications

Elaine graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Management Studies.   Elaine is a Chartered Accountant and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand  and holds a certificate of Public Practice

A Qualified and Licensed Auditor, Elaine is also an Approved Auditor of the Office of the Auditor-General in New Zealand.
