Grace Wee
Tax Principal
Grace Wee is a Tax Principal at our Auckland North office and joined the firm in 2016
While at university, Grace worked part time at a major New Zealand retailer in front line customer service and later in the office and preparing payroll. This background gave her an introduction to big business in New Zealand. After graduation, Grace left the retail industry and began working at Inland Revenue where she spent a number of years moving around the department gaining valuable experience and finally settled into a role in investigations with a focus on property.
Since joining the RSM team, Grace has had the opportunity to apply the experience and knowledge gained at Inland Revenue to some significant audits and tax risk reviews which have resulted in favorable outcomes for our clients. Her understanding of the legislation and rule applications has been a real asset to her clients.
Grace studied at Massey University completing a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy, and became a Chartered Accountant in 2015. Grace is also a Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a professional association of Chartered Accountants.
With a keen desire to expand her knowledge in the tax field, Grace is looking forward to working with any new or existing client to help them be legislatively compliant in all their transactions.
