RSM, the seventh largest global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms, has entered into two new countries with the admission of member firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Tajikistan.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina firm has two entities, Strategic Audit d.o.o and Strategic Advisory d.o.o, and is based in Sarajevo. The firm provides a full range of professional services to national and international businesses. Bordering Croatia, and as a close neighbour to RSM member firm countries Austria, Hungary and Italy; Bosnia and Herzegovina provides RSM with a key link for the group’s development in southeast Europe.
RSM has also admitted a new member firm, Ehso Audit LLC, which is based in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan. Tajikistan borders RSM member firm countries Afghanistan and China, and is a close neighbour to Pakistan, further enforcing RSM’s presence in this region. It has also signed trade and investment framework agreements with the US and other Central Asian countries, presenting a good opportunity for our clients in these areas. The firm already provides services to clients in neighbouring and Central Asian countries.
Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM, said: “I am delighted to welcome the partners and staff of these two firms to our network. As we continue to strengthen our global representation in line with our overall global client services strategy, we are looking to fill some small pockets that are intrinsically important to the overall client services in these macro-regions.”
RSM recently announced the appointment of new European Regional Leader, Anand Selvarajan. RSM’s presence in Europe has been strengthened this year by the appointment of new member firms in France and Belarus, and significant member firm developments in Italy.
In addition, Reads & Co., a long-term correspondent firm of RSM in the Channel Islands, has been admitted as a full member firm of RSM.
On 26 October 2015 the network will be adopting ‘RSM’ as its global brand name across all of its member firms worldwide.
