Did you know that an auditor is described as society’s trusted person? This is because the auditor is independent of the companies they audit and ensures that the financial information is correct. As an auditor, you are precise and analytical, but you also have a high degree of client contact. At RSM, we place great emphasis on good customer experiences, and this is a very important part of the work as an auditor.

At RSM, you work in both small and larger teams, across industries and companies. You will also collaborate closely with our other specialists in transactions, reorganization, tax, and VAT.

RSM Advokatfirma AS is affiliated with RSM Norway and functions both as the legal department for the audit firm RSM Norway and as an independent law firm. We provide legal services primarily focusing on tax, VAT, corporate law, transactions, and real estate law.

As a lawyer at RSM, you will work with the core of Norwegian business; small and medium-sized enterprises. You will therefore be a bigger piece in a smaller game – and we believe in working closely with clients and colleagues.

In M&A Transaction Services, you work in small, dedicated teams in close dialogue with the client. You are often involved in international transactions, both with Private Equity and industrial clients. Through the RSM network, we have access to broad global expertise and capacity. We can therefore assemble teams across borders when transactions require it.

We assist clients throughout the entire transaction process with services in Buy-side due diligence, Sell-side assistance, Valuation, M&A strategy, and Capital markets. We also provide expert reports in accordance with corporate legislation.

In Financial Reporting Advisory, we provide advice and guidance to clients facing complex accounting issues, typically during periods of change, restructuring, and growth. Today, businesses must navigate a demanding regulatory framework, where constant changes in accounting rules and financial reporting legislation affect internal decision-making processes and financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

When you work in the ESG Advisory team, you work cross-functionally with other business areas. Here, you get to work on, among other things, initial maturity assessments, ESG due diligence, assistance with reporting under the Transparency Act, or third-party attestation of ESG reports.
