Biography
William Cheng is Chief Financial Officer, joining RSM International in 2008, as a Financial Controller. William was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Born and raised in Malaysia, William came to the UK to study at Abertay University Dundee in 1996 and has lived and worked in London since graduation.
As CFO, William’s responsibility involves translating financial data into actionable insights and guiding strategic initiatives to ensure RSM Global operates within sound financial parameters. In essence, the focus is on planning and upholding the long-term sustainability of RSM, as a global organisation which is comprised of independent Member Firms.

Outside of work, William serves as the treasurer of the UK division of the Nichiren Shōshū Buddhist Association. He engages in weekly badminton matches, occasionally embarks on hikes in the British countryside when the weather permits, loves traveling the world to explore new places, and being Malaysian, relishes sampling a variety of cuisines.
