With a career initiated in 1988, as an audit assistant, he accumulates more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accounting, audit, taxation, and business management.
In terms of economic sector experience other than the key areas of focus, as the Holdings, Public Sector, Non-Profit Organizations, and the Service Sector, has done work in the Mining Industry, Education, Retail, Transport and Logistics, Food Industry , Biopharma, Media, etc.
It is responsible for controlling the issues of Ethics and Independence in the context of the RSM International .
He serves as the court-appointed expert and has various articles published in the journals of the Order of Official Accountants (OROC) and the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC).
He is a BA in Business Organization and Management from the Institute of New Professions (INP) and has a Graduate of Graduate in Fiscal Law by the Institute for Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF) of the University of Lisbon College of Law. He also completed several specialized short-term courses, including one at MIT and one at Nova School of Business and Economics.
He is a member of several professional orders, namely the Order of Chartered Accountants, the Order of the Economists and the Order of Certified Accountants.
He is the author of the book “A Tributação das Mais-Valias Realizadas na Transmissão Onerosa de Partes de Capital pelas SGPS”.
Exercising arbitrator duties at the Administrative Arbitration Center (CAAD) and integrates the Representative Assembly - Electoral College of Lisbon - from OROC.
