All personal data processing carried out by RSM * in Portugal is guided by the principles of lawfulness, loyalty and transparency, and the data collected is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the respective purposes.

Purposes of the Processing of Personal Data

RSM in Portugal collects and processes personal data for two exclusive purposes:

  1. Sending periodic or punctual publications containing information of a legislative, fiscal or accounting nature;
  2. Recruitment.

Personal Data Collected

The categories of data collected are:

  1. The name and e-mail address of such publications;
  2. Academic qualifications, professional experience, name, address, date of birth and telephone contact, in relation to recruitment.

Consent

The personal data processed by RSM in Portugal is collected exclusively on the initiative and with the consent of the data subject:

  1. Through our website or written document, in case of subscription of our publications;
  2. By e-mail sent by the holder, in case of recruitment.

The holder may, at any time, withdraw the consent given in two ways:

  1. Unsubscribe from publications through the "Remove" option available at the bottom of all our publications;
  2. By written contact to the e-mail address [email protected].

Storage Periods

Personal data will never be transmitted to third parties and we will keep them for as long as they are strictly necessary or until the respective consent is withdrawn. As for the applications that are sent to us, they will be duly deleted at the end of each recruitment process.

Information Security

RSM in Portugal has adopted the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the information entrusted to it.

Rights of Data Holders

The holders of personal data are guaranteed all the rights provided for by law, including the right to:

  • Request access to personal data;
  • Rectify the data in cases of inaccuracy or incompleteness of the same;
  • Request erasure if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was processed or if consent has been withdrawn;
  • Ensure the portability of personal data;
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
