The Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a protocol for foreign nationals entering the Republic of Serbia
Prerequisites for foreign nationals without temporary or permanent residence permits entering the Republic of Serbia
1.Residence permit or intransit permit to either stay or transit the Republic of Serbia issued by the Serbian Government Task Force, comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of construction transport and infrastructure. The Serbian Government Task Force shall establish the requirements and restrictions to transit or stay for travellers who have been granted a permit to enter the Republic of Serbia. The Application for a residence permit or an intransit permit to either stay or transit the Republic of Serbia should be sent to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce via e-mail [email protected]. The Application should be prepared on a company letterhead and should include the following details: the name and surname of the visitor(s) applying to enter Serbia, their passport number(s) and issuing country, reason for visiting Serbia, border crossing point and time of crossing (flight number/vehicle registration plate), address of residence during the stay in Serbia, location and address in Serbia where the visitor(s) will be performing their work. A response from the Government’s Task Force to the Application can be expected within 24 to 48 hours after the application is filed. Additional questions can be e-mailed to: [email protected].
2.Negative PCR SARS-CoV2 test result of a specimen tested abroad in a reference laboratory, not older than 72 hours (3 days) before the time of crossing the border, issued by a National Reference Laboratory of the traveller’s country of departure to Serbia.
Where the traveller is not able to get tested in the country of their departure to Serbia, a 14 days home-quarantine shall be imposed or, alternatively, another health supervising measure will be established as per deed of Minister of Health.
Chidren under the age of 12 with foreign citizenship are not required to present a PCR SARS-CoV-2 test result if their parent, guardian or family member accompanying them has presented a negative test result.
