Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates. Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):
- Understand the legal aspects, processes and timelines of bankruptcy administrations
- Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
- Take control of the bankrupt's assets followed by realisation
- Gather information from bankrupts and other third parties
- Maintain a database of information and records
- Conduct site visits
- Adjudicate creditors' claims
- Investigate past transactions
- Assist with the reviewing of case/issues and preparation of file-notes
- Attend meetings and take down minutes
- Clarify issues/problems to be addressed and communicated clearly and timely to supervisors
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
- Fresh graduates and those with less than 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit
- Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
- A strong team player
