Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates
- Understand legal aspects, processes, and timeline of bankruptcy administrations
- Prepare letters, notices, emails and reports
- Take control of bankrupt's assets followed by realisation
- Gather information from bankrupts and other third parties
- Maintain a database of information and records
- Review and present financial information •
- Conduct site visits
- Adjudicate creditors' claims
- Investigate past transactions
- Assist with the reviewing of cases/issues, and preparation of file-notes
- Attend meetings and take down minutes
- Coach and guide junior team members, and review their work
Requirements
- Degree in accountancy, law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
- 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit
- Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
- A strong team player
