Andrew Tan
Senior Director
Andrew Tan specialises in tax dispute matters, including identifying potential risks that may lead to audits or investigations by tax authorities. He assists companies and individuals under audit or investigation, helping them effectively mitigate risks and resolve cases with minimal impact.
Previously, he was a Senior Manager at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), where he gained 42 years of experience in tax-related matters, including 31 years in investigative roles across all tax types. He later served as Tax Director at NLA DFK Pte. Ltd., assisting clients under investigation in reaching out-of-court settlements with minimal penalties.
In recognition of his contributions, Andrew has received several prestigious awards, including the Long Service Award from then-Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in 2003 and the IRAS Outstanding Performance Travel Award from the Comptroller of Income Tax in 2012. In 2014, he was honoured with the National Day Commendation Medal (Pingat Kepujian) by then-Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who is now the President of Singapore.
