Partner & Head of China Practice Group

Thiam Soon currently leads the Firm’s China Practice Group, which is dedicated to serving businesses from China venturing into Singapore and other South East Asia countries, as well as those venturing into China.

Thiam Soon's vast experience includes 11 years with an international public accounting firm in Singapore. He joined the Firm as a senior manager in 2000 and was admitted as a partner in 2003.

Thiam Soon's experience ranges from the audit of emerging businesses to multinationals, statutory boards and public-listed companies in industries such as are manufacturing and trading, engineering, construction and service providers.

In addition to assurance responsibilities, Thiam Soon is involved in assignments that include the provision of advisory services for clients seeking to list shares on the Singapore Exchange as well as due diligence reviews for clients making significant investment acquisitions.

Proficient in both English and Mandarin, Thiam Soon is also responsible for several lPO assignments for Chinese companies seeking listings on the Singapore Exchange.
