William's area of expertise includes advising clients on cross border implications to ensure tax effectiveness for shareholding and sales structure, withholding tax, shipping, capital gains tax, fund management and other international tax issues, including indirect taxes such as value-added tax and stamp duty.

William has several years of practical experience in the field of tax, with a substantial period spent working as an international tax partner for one of the Big 4 firms. Currently, he assists in managing and developing the Firm’s Tax Practice.

His extensive experience includes the provision of tax advisory on the restructuring of public-listed companies – including MNCs – and group companies, especially in cross-border situations.
