The Infocomm Media Development Authority’s (“IMDA”) Digital Resilience Bonus or DRB aims to help businesses in the food services and retail sectors that are impacted by challenges arising from COVID-19 to enhance their digital capabilities.
Eligibility for DRB
Food services and retail businesses that have PayNow Corporate accounts without suffix, e-invoicing, and use pre-defined categories of digital solutions for Business Processes, Digital Presence and Data Mining and Analytics can receive payouts of up to S$10,000.
There are three categories under the DRB:

A Case Example
Barista (S) Pte Ltd runs a coffee house with three cafes around town. The company is a subscriber of Digital Ordering System Smart Kiosk, and uses Accounting System Xero and HR/Payroll System Payday! HRMS to manage employees and their salaries.
These three solutions are IMDA pre-approved solutions for DRB, and the company has been using them for more than a month. Apart from that, Barista also fulfils the following eligibility criteria required for DRB:
- Barista falls under food or retail services with a Qualified Primary SSIC as of 26 May 2020
- Barista (S) Pte Ltd is incorporated on or before 26 May 2020
- Barista has an active PayNow Corporate account
- Barista uses InvoiceNow
As Barista has adopted all the solutions from DRB Category 1 and meets the eligibility as per IMDA’s requirements stated above, it will receive a $2,500 payout.
