The Senior Accountant-Advisor Programme (SAAP) is a career programme by RSM Singapore designed to develop senior accountants into multi-skilled, highly trained and professionally qualified business advisors. Our goal is to equip you with the necessary skills to excel in today’s intricate corporate landscape, enabling you to deliver impactful outcomes for our clients.


As part of SAAP, you will be rotated among various job functions, ranging from financial audits, data science and environmental, social and governance (ESG) projects. You will be mentored by expert professionals in the field to become a young leader with multi-disciplinary skill sets, capable of tackling the challenges of the future. You will also receive full support to obtain the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualifications (SCAQ)), as well as other relevant qualifications, where applicable.

Specialisations

In addition to performing assurance engagement in compliance with professional standards, you will be given the opportunity to specialise in one of the following emerging areas:

(1) ESG

  • Conduct research and perform professional analysis of client's needs and issues through interviews and workshops to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Support ESG technology and advisory projects.

(2) Data Science

  • Identify opportunities to design and develop data analytics procedures that support internal and external needs.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of clients’ data to generate actionable insights.
  • Conceptualise and develop data analytics or technology-related content to raise awareness of their benefits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Accountancy graduates (Bachelors or above) with 2 to 3 years of audit experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Graduate-Accountant Advisor Programme (GAAP) instead
  • Passion for data analytics and/or ESG
  • Technically competent, technology-savvy, energetic, and culturally adaptable
  • Possesses good interpersonal communication, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Versatile, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
